Bookings are now open for the Durham Freemasons 2026 Weekend Break, offering Freemasons, their partners, family and friends the opportunity to enjoy four days and three nights in Llandudno in the run-up to Christmas.
Taking place from Friday 11th to Monday 14th December 2026, the break will be based at the recently refurbished Hydro Hotel, Llandudno, ideally situated on the town's seafront.
The weekend has been arranged as an opportunity to get away, relax and enjoy good company, great food and everything Llandudno and the surrounding area have to offer.
The price includes coach travel, three nights' accommodation with bed & breakfast and evening meals, with pre-arranged coach pick-up points.
Accommodation is priced at £295 per person for twin or double rooms and £320 per person for single rooms, based on a group of 30 people. A £50 deposit is required.
Christmas in Chester
On Saturday, those who wish can visit Chester Christmas Market, providing an opportunity to enjoy the city's festive atmosphere, Christmas shopping, food and entertainment.
There will also be an optional tour on Sunday. Neither activity is compulsory, and those joining the break are free to make their own plans and enjoy Llandudno at their own pace.
The Hydro Hotel
The Hydro Hotel enjoys an excellent position on Llandudno's seafront, close to Venue Cymru and only a short walk from the town's shops, Victorian Pier and Happy Valley Gardens.
Its Looking Glass Bar and many of its bedrooms offer views across the bay or over the town towards the Snowdonia mountains. Guests wishing to make the most of the location can enquire about upgrading to a room with a view, subject to availability.
Bedrooms include tea and coffee-making facilities, a hairdryer and Freeview television with radio channels, while ironing facilities are available from reception.
Discover Llandudno
Situated on a peninsula between the Great Orme and Little Orme, Llandudno provides plenty to explore during the weekend.
The North Shore, immediately outside the hotel, is home to Llandudno's famous Victorian Pier and provides easy access to the town. The quieter West Shore offers expansive views towards the mountains of Snowdonia.
Visitors can also explore the Great Orme, with its Victorian tramway and cable car providing routes towards the summit and some spectacular views across North Wales.
Llandudno itself offers tree-lined streets, independent and high-street shops, galleries, entertainment and theatre at Venue Cymru, making it an ideal location for a relaxing pre-Christmas weekend.
Open to Freemasons, Partners, Family and Friends
The weekend break is open to all Freemasons and their partners, while children, family members and friends are also welcome subject to availability.
Regular information will be provided to those attending through a dedicated WhatsApp group and newsletter updates as the weekend approaches.
