Vane Lodge 3110, has a fantastic history which was Consecrated in 1905, they originally held their regular meetings in Bishop Auckland, before moving to Shildon in 2017. Today Vane Lodge is a friendly, welcoming lodge, being a relatively small Lodge, with members varying in age, and believing in Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Charity, whilst keeping the traditions of the Lodge.
What We Do
Vane Lodge prides itself on being a group of forward-thinking Masons with a common goal, to meet with like-minded people and enjoy each other’s company.
We hold social events in which our family and friends are invited. At our February meeting we make it a special, successful, and sort after Burns Night in which we open and close the meeting, we have a piper and a Burns Supper, followed by entertainment. This is open to everyone should they wish to come along.
We raise money and donate to local none masonic charities.
Why Join Us
Vane Lodge have a wide cross section of members who believe in living life to the full, working hard but above all, helping others whilst trying to have fun in the process, and encouraging all members to participate in the ceremonies at the regular meetings.
Holding the meetings on a Friday evening at the start of weekend, has proved to be more relaxing than mid-week, and would suite and encourage those who work hard through the week to join Vane Lodge.
