Who are we?

Hudson lodge was established by warrant on 3rd February 1899. We currently have 27 members ranging from 30’s through to 80’s. Our members come from the local town and from as far South as Darlington and North almost to the Scottish Borders. We have members who are ex Armed Forces and also members who are active in the local Community in the Dales and also in other Towns. We pride ourselves on being friendly and welcoming, and are also pleased to be able to maintain our Hall and Building and offer this for hire to the local community.

What we do

We have maintained our lodge membership at a steady rate in the last 15+ years and in this time have seen new members join from the local area and further afield. The majority of members who join have remained in the Lodge for many years. We encourage members to become involved in Freemasonry at the level that they wish to engage and support members to achieve their best. In the social part of the lodge, we welcome visitors form near and far and have close ties with  a Lodge in Sunderland who share visits with Annually.

Why join us?

Our aim in Hudson Lodge is to develop our social lives together as a group, and also to support the local community and Charitable causes.

We aim to do this by enjoying our time in Freemasonry and having fun while aiming for serious achievements. We encourage all those who are considering joining to come and visit us.
