Provincial Chaplaincy There For All | Durham Freemasons

Dear Brethren

I hope that your time in office is going well, and you are looking forward to Christmas and the New year.

I am the Provincial Chaplain, and my Assistant is Rev Jon Whalley. You will have seen us at Provincial Team Visits. We wanted to emphasise to you that we are not only Chaplains to all Brethren, and Chaplains to Provincial Grand Lodge, but we wanted to stress that we are also personal Chaplains to all acting Provincial Officers.

This means that if you are ill, in hospital, or suffer a bereavement, or just worried about life and its pressures, we are here for you. If you let us know, we will come and visit you on behalf of Province and do whatever we can to assist in your troubles, whether practical or spiritual. Please do not think that any issue is too small to count. If it affects you, it affects all of us as Brothers together, and we would like to help and pray for you and your loved ones.

If your problem is personal or confidential, we can assure you of total confidence, our conversations are not passed on to anyone. I am a Church of England Lay Minister, and Rev. Jon Whalley is a Priest, so have much experience in listening to those whose lives have changed.

My contact details are below, we are always here ready to listen and help, so please do think that in times of need, you can email or call us or just have a quiet word at a Provincial visit.
