Understand Reasons for Resignation

Unattached Freemasons are not a member of any Lodge and re-engaging with these Brethren can often lead to consideration of re-joining a Lodge. This process is unlikely just to be undertaken by a Lodge alone and is likely to be done in conjunction with a Provincial or Metropolitan Team tasked with retrieval.

Many Unattached Freemasons are likely to have become so due to a change is circumstances including relocation to a different area, a change in job or family circumstances making it difficult to attend meeting there are a multitude of reasons.

Understand Reason(s) for Resignation

The Members’ Pathway team is currently collecting examples of how lodges have attracted, introduced and encouraged potential new members, whilst at the same time retaining and adding value to the existing membership.

These examples will be published here to recognise the great work done throughout the Province and to help provide inspiration to other Lodges.

If you have any suggestion of strategies, events or training that have produced positive results for your Lodge please share them with the Provincial Pathway Team.
