Craft Provincial Honours and Appointments 2021
Once more we are unable to gather for what was due to be our Annual General Meeting. As noted in June’s second rising, a rearranged meeting will now take place on Saturday 4th September, at a venue yet to be confirmed, with attendance determined according to Government guidance in place at that time.
That said, nothing stands still, and the Appointments and Honours announced by the Provincial Grand Master / Provincial Grand Superintendent in April come in to force today, 26th June.
The letter, attached below, includes the retirement of WBro Simon Craig Steele as Assistant Provincial Grand Master after seven years in that role, and the appointment of WBro Clinton Eliot Leeks (pictured) as APGM Designate, to be invested on a future date. Craig will continue as Chair of Durham Benevolence and will also continue to serve on the Executive Team. We thank Craig for his past and continued service and welcome Clinton to the team.
We also congratulate the Brethren that have received Provincial Honours, which are all well-deserved. Whilst it is unfortunate that they cannot be invested with their new honour in person, as of today they may wear their new regalia with pride. A full list is included below.
The announced changes to the Provincial Areas and Visiting Support Officers also come into force today, and we also include those below for your information.
