Provincial Announcement – December 2021

Dear Sir and Brother / Companion,

Provincial Announcement – December 2021

I am directed to announce the resignation of our Provincial Grand Master and Most Excellent Grand Superintendent, John Arthur with immediate effect.

Since his appointment in October 2018, John has led our Province with great energy and enthusiasm and has been instrumental in establishing several projects aimed at improving and modernising our wonderful organisation.

The United Grand Lodge and the Supreme Grand Chapter of England have not yet announced his successor which means that in the interim, VWBro Stephen William Walker and E Comp Michael Stuart Shaw will take responsibility for the Province as Deputy Provincial Grand Master and Deputy Grand Superintendent in Charge in their respective Masonic Orders, and they will jointly direct the work of the Executive Team.

John and his wife are in good health and wish all members well, and of course, the very best for the Festive Season.

Sincerely and Fraternally,

T.F. Gittins

Provincial Grand Secretary
Provincial Grand Scribe Ezra
