GRAND RANK CONFERRED 2021
28
AprilCongratulations to our Brethren who are appointed or promoted in Grand Rank, which would normally see the Durham Brethren catching the early London bound train on route to Freemasons Hall Great Queen Street.
On arrival they would have joined the throng of Freemasons from around the world, to witness those Brethren who are to be appointed or promoted in Grand Rank at Annual Investitures of both the Craft and the Holy Royal Arch held within the auspicious surroundings of the Grand Temple.
The Annual Investitures this year unfortunately are unable to be hosted in London due to the (COVID-19) crisis, which has saw Freemasonry placed into lock down for a period of 4 months.
Today we celebrate our Craft members on their preferment’s and tomorrow those in the Royal Arch, it will have been a terrible disappointment not to have been invested as usual, however it in no way detracts from their magnificent achievement.
We are extremely proud of all of them all and look forward to seeing them adorned in their new regalia and insignia when we return to our Lodges.
