February at Rowlandson Chapter | Durham Freemasons

Team visits are one of the many enjoyable duties that appointed acting officers enjoy within the Province of Durham, taking each of them to different Chapter Convocations that all have their own unique experiences.  On Thursday 9th February the full Provincial Team was led by the Grand Superintendent, John Thompson, who had the pleasure to visit the members of Rowlandson Chapter, who meet at the Masonic Hall in Ferryhill.

The provincial team were welcomed by the members of Rowlandson Chapter who then got on with the business of the evening and performed an exaltation ceremony to the highest standard for their new member Gareth Wilson.  The ceremony was enjoyed by all in attendance and shone a light on the hard work and effort put in by the members of the chapter to make it the perfect experience and welcome for Gareth.

Following the business upstairs everyone enjoyed the festive board and one another’s company over a very delicious meal.
