Corinthian L5808

Who are we?

Corinthian Lodge, No. 5808 is a Lodge that has been in existence for 83 years, consecrated in November 1939. We are an average sized Lodge, with 36 members, quality rather than quantity, with an age range from 28 years to 91 years. We are a Lodge that enjoys masonry and always try perform quality ceremonies. We have a regular following of visitors from other local Lodges and our members in turn support those Lodges.

What we do

We enjoy our Masonry.  Whilst we encourage members to progress through the various Officer posts and take an active part in ceremonies there is absolutely no pressure to do so. If you just want to attend and enjoy the ceremonies and friendship that Masonry provides that is fine. All Lodges have some variations on their ways of doing things and Corinthian Lodge is no different. We always try to maintain the traditions of Masonry but we move with the times to enhance membership quality and try to give everyone feeling of belonging.

Why join us?

Our charitable giving and support for local charities is a paramount part of our Lodge. We look after and support new members so that they feel
‘at home’ with what are new surroundings and new ‘friends’.

When we meet

We meet eight (8) times a year on the fourth Tuesday of January, February, March, April, and May, a summer recess then September, October and November. Our Installation meeting is in January
