Durham finishes 2nd at the Inter Provincial Clay Pigeon Shoot on Sunday 1st October 2023.
Thirteen Durham freemason, armed with guns and cartridges, turned up to shoot 50 ‘Sporting Bird’ clay targets at the annual Inter Provincial Competition at The Coniston Hotel shooting ground in Skipton North Yorkshire. Several lodges were represented from across the province, with Agricola Lodge supplying 7 shooters for the event.
Five Provinces from across the England were represented on the day with the top 6 guns from each province counting towards the overall competition.
This was only the 2nd year The Province of Durham has been represented during the 20 + Years that the event has been running for the Watson Eden Trophy.
